Rev. Mark Taylor joined the First Christian Church staff in 2008 as a part-time Youth Ministry Intern. He quickly found First Christian and the Disciples of Christ denomination to be a good fit and has been here ever since. Throughout the years he has filled a few different roles including technology specialist, youth ministry assistant, communications assistant, and now serves as the Minister of Faith Development.

Mark grew up in central Illinois, but has found a true home in Oklahoma. He received his BA in Youth Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University in 2008, and his Master of Divinity from Philips Theological Seminary in 2016.

Mark has two amazing children, Mackenzie and Kylee. He enjoys spending time with his children, reading, doing minor home improvements, and drinking good coffee.
