What Is The BE Campaign?
In a time of political polarization and divisive issues, BE part of this movement to make our communities and the world more like the Kingdom of God! In 700 BCE, in a time with many similarities to today, the prophet Micah asked and answered the question: What does God require of us? The answer was simple: do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God. (Micah 6:8)
We believe we can love our neighbors and recover and reclaim these three essential practices.
During November, through our worship series and social media, we will share ideas, activities, and challenges to help you and your family make the Micah 6:8 pledge. PLUS – we’ll have brand new FCC t-shirts, yard signs, and memory verse invite cards to share the message with our neighbors!
Make The Micah 6:8 Pledge
I pledge to strive to follow Micah 6:8 in all aspects of my life:
To act justly and pursue justice by standing with and speaking out for those who are vulnerable, mistreated, in need or exploited;
To practice kindness and mercy in every interaction, even with those with whom I disagree;
To act with humility, surrendering my will to God’s will, acknowledging that I may not always be right and should listen more and speak less.
And, I will seek to inspire others to do the same.
Be Intentional
This campaign calls you to take action!
Stand up, speak out and act in places of inequity, ensuring the vulnerable are treated fairly.
Practice intentional acts of kindness and compassion daily.
Cultivate the habit of humility through respect, listening, and empathy.
During November we will share ideas, activities and challenges to help you be intentional as you commit to BE JUST, KIND AND HUMBLE.

We ordered 120 t-shirts and sold out of most sizes the first Sunday! A limited number of additional short sleeve and long sleeve t-shirts were ordered and will be available for sale Sunday, November 6.
